Three years ago, I decided I needed a change and that being a traveling nurse was the answer. I was afraid of stepping out there, but the placement coordinators at Nurses in Partnership reassured me I could do it. They’ve always been there for me ever since – they even call me just to see how I’m doing. With NIP, I feel like I have a whole office of great people trying 24-hours-a-day to make every assignment a fit for me. I am now on my 4th assignment, at the same hospital in California. It’s been a wonderful adventure for a first time traveler. |

After 17 years of staff nursing, having raised grown sons and having never been anywhere but the East Coast, I decided to become a travel nurse. After hours of searching the Internet, I found an agency that really sounded good. I don't know if it was the fact that this recruiter was willing to "hold my hand" through the process or what, but my Recruiter with Nurses in Partnership quickly became not only my employer but my friend. When I was sent to my first assignment in California she told me the hospital and environment were "travel friendly". She could not have been more right. I fell in love with the place from day one and extended my stay to 5 months. NIP has to be the best thing that ever happened to me.

It's always a nerve racking decision to move to another job. Sure, nursing is nursing anywhere you are, but you have to feel that you have a strong network of people that can help your transition run smoothly. When I joined Nurses in Partnership last year I was especially nervous as my placement was to be in a brand new hospital. I always felt supported by the NIPINC team every step of the way. I appreciated the way they called me once a week to see how I was coping with the new job, and I especially appreciated their availability to me. I have been with other nursing agencies before and I often felt like a very small cog in a big machine. What is refreshing about Nurses in Partnership is that I am treated as a valued member of the team.

Working with Nurses in Partnership has been a really great experience. It's nice to be able to work with a company that is so organized and compassionate to their travelers. Any issue that has arisen has been dealt with quickly with finesse and grace. It is my pleasure to be a part of a team that is destined for greatness! I look forward to booking my next assignment with NIP!

I am currently on my third assignment with Nurses in Partnership. My decision to become a travel nurse was well thought out and planned for quite some time. I contacted my recruiter well over a year before I was planning to begin travel nursing. Throughout that year, the NIP recruiter addressed my many questions and I felt that we cultivated a professional relationship. The recruiter was, and is still, a source of knowledge – a professional, sincere, and caring colleague.
